Go beyond color harmonies with this lecture and workshop series, where the artist, B. Duncan, will delve deeper into the complexities of color theory.

To ‘see’ color and color relationships is a base from which artists can use their own license to push contrasts and create nuances. In the lecture, the color spot method of artist Henry Hensche will be further expanded, as well as the color contrast theories of Johannes Itten and Paul Klee. Put these concepts in action during the workshop, with a large, extended still life and a limited color palette. Heavy Body Acrylic. Light Refreshments provided during both events.

Artist and educator, B. Duncan, holds a Bachelors of Art from the University of Arkansas-Fort Smith. Currently she works as a Co-Curator of Bastion Gallery in Fort Smith as well as Gallery Assistant at the UAFS Windgate Art and Design Main Gallery.
