From Story to Screen: The Western District (Four-Part Lecture Series)

With the help of local historians, Dr. Brandon Chase Goldsmith spent three and half years thoroughly researching and digging into historical archives, museum backrooms, private collections, and over 500 pages of Congressional Record in order to piece this long-lost story of corruption together. In 2018, he wrote, produced, and published The Western District play and book. Now, Dr. Goldsmith has assembled an award-winning production team working to turn this recently uncovered portion of United States’ history into a feature-length documentary.
