The Fort Smith Regional Art Museum invites you to dash through the matador’s
red mutella and enter your portal to Spain!
From your greeting sip of cava to the mesmerizing beauty of the Spanish guitar, to multiple courses of mouthwatering tapas by Uncork’d to share with your friends, “Evening in Spain” is where you’ll want to be!
Find your treasures at the silent auction of art and gifts. Meet some of Spain’s finest with the Fort Smith Little Theatre portrayals of Diego Velázquez, Francisco Goya, Maria Blanchard, Pablo Picasso, and Salvador Dali. View and purchase art, win live-auction must-haves like a trip for two to Spain, sip the special recipe Sangria and other Spanish wines and cocktails, and share a most memorable tapas meal with your table mates.
Performances by world-class and Arkansas native Spanish guitarist Jay Shepherd and of the Flamenco by the talented Western Arkansas Ballet will bring you to the heart of Barcelona! Top off the evening with the world-class guitar and dance music of Arkansas’ own Gary Hutchison and Oreo Blue!
Thank you for attending to lend vital support once again for the free programs of the Fort Smith Regional Art Museum, a great, 77-year nonprofit cause!
“Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once he grows up.” – Pablo Picasso
