Frame Your Pet - Fort Smith Regional Art Museum

SUPPORT THE ARTS & LOCAL ARTISTS!

RAM is partnering with local artists to once again offer one-of-a-kind portraits of your beloved pet!
Proceeds will go toward supporting both the partnered artists and RAM in this wonderful opportunity to uplift the arts in our community!

This is an ongoing program that will be accepting orders from August 4, 2025 – February 1, 2026. Turnaround for portrait orders will depend on the individual artist, but RAM will work with your artist to provide an estimated time of completion once you’ve placed your order. Sizes include an 8” x 10” at $150, or an 11” x 14” at $200 for your single-pet portrait (orders with more than one pet per portrait will include an additional $50 fee per pet).

Gift certificates now available! “Frame Your Pet” can now easily be given as a gift. Perfect for Christmas, birthdays, or as a “just because,” pet portraits make a unique and thoughtful gift for any occasion.

Sandra Dixon

Sandra Dixon’s art is deeply influenced by her surroundings. Raised in Clearfield, Pennsylvania, she developed a love for the outdoors through walks in fields and forests and being around animals. Experiences near New York City and on the Navajo reservation also left strong impressions. Now in Fort Smith, Arkansas, she is exploring the South. Her education includes studies at Penn State University, University of New Mexico, Western New Mexico University, and Arkansas University-Fort Smith, and private lessons. She believes good art is enjoyed by both the creator and the viewer, striving to create works that make her heart sing.

Growing up in Fort Smith, Arkansas, artist William Rebsamen began their journey studying under the renowned Arkansas wildlife artist Susan Morrison during their teenage years. They went on to earn a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Kansas City Art Institute in 1986. Now a skilled Graphic Artist and Prepress Compositor, they have provided illustrations for an impressive range of clients, including Animal Planet, the History Channel, National Geographic TV, and Sony Pictures. Additionally, they have created over 100 pet portraits since the 1980s, showcasing their diverse artistic talents.

Pastels

Lynn’s love of nature and animals is evident in her portraits of pets, birds, wildlife and landscapes. She works with pastels, watercolors, acrylics and oils, and also creates jewelry with rocks, minerals and gemstones. Lynn lives in the foothills of the Ouachita mountains, not far from Fort Smith. She began her art career later in life after raising children, and after years in the corporate world. Her artwork can be viewed on Facebook under Desert Wren Studio.
Seth Stewart

Seth Stewart is a visual artist based out of Alma Arkansas. He has a BFA in studio art and was an art teacher in North Little Rock and Bentonville for seven years. Stewart specializes in many mediums including murals, digital work, painting, drawing, printmaking and even dabbled in sculpture.
