RECEPTION: JAN 16, 5 – 7 PM
ON VIEW: JAN 17 – MAY 10
Join us on Friday, January 16, from 5 – 7 pm, for Fort Smith Legend, John Bell, Jr., an exhibition that will highlight original artwork by John Bell, Jr. generously donated to The John Bell, Jr. Legacy Project at RAM. John Bell, Jr. (1937-2013) was a renowned painter and sculptor who created art for nearly 50 years despite living with cerebral palsy, which limited his mobility and hand use. He advocated for accessibility awareness while developing his unique style influenced by artists like Renoir and Jacques-Louis David. His work often reflected the history and beauty of Fort Smith and the character of its people.
