The Hearts Project returns to RAM!

Continuing her work of the Hearts Project to honor the Arkansas lives lost to COVID, artist Monica Moore is ready to unveil her newest hearts frame. Each panel within the frame features recycled paper hearts, each heart representing a life lost, and hand-cut from consumer catalogs, magazines, brochures, and other miscellaneous print media. This new frame was created to honor the experience of Christmas 2020, when businesses were forced to close, and family gatherings were interrupted. Since debuting her first three frames at RAM in 2024, Moore partnered with Life Styles, Inc. of Fayetteville to help their community members, clients with developmental disabilities, express emotions about how they were affected by the pandemic through art, and to help the Hearts Project honor the lives lost. A selection of these works will also be on display.
