HOLIDAY ART PARTY

Join us for the RAM Holiday Art Party on Saturday, December 6, from 11 am to 3 pm. Enjoy creative holiday crafts, cookies, and a fun photo backdrop. Meet Santa and capture memories! This free, family-friendly event offers something for everyone, so bring the whole family for a day of festive fun and cheer!

BEGINNING DRAWING
FOR YOUNG ARTISTS

Thursday & Friday, December 11 & 12, from 2 – 3:30 pm
$10 per student | Ages 10+

Join talented teen artist Ayree Maner for an engaging two-day drawing class! Students will learn to draw from life, enhancing their technical skills while exploring new techniques to create unique and expressive artworks.

ARTIST LECTURE
with Michael Warrick

Friday, December 12, from 5:30 – 7 pm

 

Join us on Friday, December 12 for a lecture by artist  Michael Warrick. Warrick will discuss the techniques, concepts and processes behind his current exhibition, Spirits. Honored as a living treasure by the Arkansas Arts Council in 2020, Warrick taught design, drawing, and sculpture at UA Little Rock from 1990 to 2022. Currently, he teaches clay sculpting of portraits and figures at the Little Rock Wingate Art School.

INTERMEDIATE ACRYLIC WORKSHOP

Thursday & Friday, January 22 & 23, 2026, from 5:30 – 8 pm each day
$50 per student | Ages 16+

 

Join us at RAM for an Intermediate Acrylic Workshop on January 22 and 23, from 5:30 to 8 PM. On the first day, students will learn about color mixing, underpainting, and limited palettes through hands-on projects. The second day of this workshop will focus on the art of composition. Discover how to use thumbnail sketches effectively and create a small painting that examines proportion, value, size, shape, and impact

RAM is the place for make-and-take art projects. Currently, the classes are focusing on fun projects while exploring crafts through the decades. 

All art supplies provided. All ages and skill levels welcome.

Recreate works by the great masters, guided by Petra Radcliffe, while you sip your favorite beverages. All skill levels welcome, art supplies provided.

Guided by a trained gallery educator, tours  include our 5 galleries and information about the techniques and processes of multiple artists.

GROUP TOURS

 

Tours for both students and adults (or school field trips!) will be led by trained gallery educators for a 60–90 minute museum experience. The first half will be spent touring the galleries and the second half will be spent finding a favorite artwork and sketching their own works of art from that image  or sculpture.
